"lots of family willing to take care of her" TIME IS CRUCIAL

Check into providing 'foster care' for the children.
You have to pursue getting those children specifically and may have to attend some classes to officially qualify to provide foster care for them. As a relative you may also be quickly accepted to care for the children.
You have to actively communicate with the judge and the agency to take care of them.
Children are usually traumatized by being taken and by being held away from their family. Time is crucial for the children.
Sincerely, Andre L Noel
